DZ Fast Track Training
Our 6-day “D Class” training program covers all mandatory objectives set by the Ministry of Transportation’s Commercial Truck Driver Training Standard. Combining 16 hours of classroom instruction and 6 hours of hands-on training, you’ll gain practical experience in vehicle inspections, off-road maneuvers, air brakes, and MTO prep.

Course Entry Qualifications
- Applicants must be 18 years of age to drive in Canada, and 21 to drive internationally
- Provide A Valid Driver’s License “G” or Higher
- An MTO Medical is required to be filled out by a doctor

Course Details
This program includes all mandatory objectives set forth in the Ministry of Transportation’s Commercial Truck Driver Training Standard (Class A), released July 2016.
Subjects of the program include:
- D Class Vehicle Off-Road Tasks and Maneuvers
- Vehicle Inspection Activities
- MTO Prep
- Z Endorsement – Air Brakes
Duration: 6 days (not consecutive)
This program includes both classroom (16 hours) and practical training (6 hours). The hands-on training takes place in the yard and on the road using a D Class vehicle, while under the instruction of a qualified trainer.
Students will also engage in various classroom activities to help prepare for a career as a professional driver.
CROSSROADS Barrie is a registered and approved member of the Truck Training Schools Association of Ontario. This program does not require approval under the Private Career Colleges Act, 2005.
